Closing the book on MONFest 2025

We're a few weeks out from our last MONFest and still enjoying the photos our vendors and participants keep sharing about our time together!

We wanted to also take a moment to share some good news with you!

MONFest Awarded a grant!

We are happy to share that we have been the recipient of a grant from the Iowa Arts Council and Iowa Economic Development Authority to support MONfest. The grant funds supported logistics for the day of the festival but also are helping the MONfest team to be able to produce a promotional short documentary about our unique cultural event to be shared leading up to MONfest 2026. We are so grateful for this valuable support and look forward to providing updates about the documentary production and future screenings!

Another news highlight

We're also happy to share this great write up by Iowa Public Radio where our founder Siricasso shares his, "hopes that the event continues to grow in both size and spirit.

'That’s the big thing,' he said. 'Creating that space for artists to be seen and heard, and letting people know that this is a safe space for everybody. We’re not here to compete with nobody. That’s not the main goal. It’s just for us to be with each other, showcase our art and tell our stories.'

Share your thoughts with us!

If you participated in the 2025 MONfest please take a few minutes to share your thoughts with us so that we can inform our next one! We are still accepting your feedback! Please take a moment to provide your thoughts.

Please let us know what worked and what can be improved, we have created questions for you based on how you experienced the festival and truly, we would love your feedback.

Keep the spirit of MONfest alive

Don't forget our merch shop is open and ready for you. If you didn't have a chance to grab the limited 2025 MONfest gear, we've got tees, trucker hats, and coloring books in stock.

We're glad you're here with us - the spirit of MONfest lives on all year long - not just in July!

In rural we vibe,
